CBD for Pain
It is estimated that more than one-third of the UK population suffers from chronic pain, which would be about 28 million adults living with pain lasting more than three months.
People with chronic pain are using CBD as a much more natural choice instead of relying on medication, including opioids, which come with a lot of side effects.
CBD oil is considered one of the most helpful supplements for pain alleviation. Cannabinoid oil is highly antioxidant, creating an anti-inflammatory effect on joints and muscles, hence helping improve pain and stiffness. In addition, CBD also exerts an analgesic action that reduces the sensation of pain, which can be quite helpful in general and chronic pains.
Research has shown that 62% of the people using CBD do so for treating chronic pain, arthritis, and joint pain.
In 2009 it was found that CBD can be used to relieve neuropathic pain. The research concluded that CBD might be a useful addition. With this information, a lot of fibromyalgia patients are now using CBD to help control their pain with great results.

How CBD Helps Pain Management
We all have an endocannabinoid system (ECS) which is made up of cannabinoid receptors, endocannabinoids, and enzymes. These all play a crucial role in the human body’s maintenance of homeostasis. There is evidence to show how CBD interacts with the ECS in a positive way.
The body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) has two main types of cannabinoid receptors that CBD interacts with and simulates. CBD and CB2 receptors.
When CB1 receptors are activated in the brain it creates an analgesic response (pain relief). So this means that CBD helps block pain signals.
How To Use CBD to Help Reduce Pain
There are a number of ways in which you can take up CBD, however, the most popular method of taking up CBD oil is through oral means. Actually, this is one of the most direct and effective means of delivery, as it may get to work in 15 minutes.
Apply the recommended drops under the tongue and let it sit there for roughly 30 seconds, allowing the oil to absorb into your system.
You can take CBD in the form of CBD tablets or gummies, which are some of the easiest ways to consume it. Not everyone is too fond of the way regular CBD oil tastes, so these products will work just fine. They are all really easy and very convenient to take.

Finding Your Ideal CBD Dosage.
The amount of CBD required is unique and different individuals, and this, to a large extent, depends on a few factors including weight, metabolic rate, dietary intake, level of exercise, individual conditions, and individual response towards CBD.
To find your perfect dosage, start low and work your way up incrementally. Pay close attention to how you’re feeling after your doses of CBD so you can make tweaks in dosage as necessary to get the desired results.
Remember, finding the right CBD dosage is a personal journey, and it may take some time to discover the perfect balance.
We suggest starting on a daily dose of 25mg of CBD and moving up to 40mg a day. Start with 25mg of CBD a day and add 1-2 drops extra each day until you find the dose that’s best for you.
You can take CBD all at once or split it throughout the day as and when you need it. Some days you may need more CBD. Don’t be afraid to alter the dose in line with your body’s needs, if you need more take it.
A lot of pain clients need a higher amount of CBD. Taking CBD at regular intervals like with pain killers has shown to have great results.
It can take up to 6 – 8 weeks to get the full results from CBD as it has a cumulative effect.
The chart below explains the number of CBD drops you will need to take to reach 25mg of CBD a day for each bottle’s strength.
CBD Body Products To Help Fight Pain
CBD balm, muscle cream and body oils are fantastic products to apply to the body to help with muscle recovery. They provide targeted pain relief and are an efficient remedy for muscle cramps, painful joints, and spasms. These can be applied up to 4 times a day on top of taking CBD oil.
The bath salts have also become a firm favourite with chronic pain clients. Many clients with chronic pain disorders such as fibromyalgia, and endometriosis have said the bath salts help control and reduce symptoms.
